What happened to the petition?

Am I missing something? It is at like 178 sigs..

This morning when I looked at it, it was at 11,807

Yes, I'm not sure either. When I woke up this morning, it was showing 9,000 and less, and then it went down to 178? Freaky. Tried calling PetitionOnline.com a few times, and left a message, but no response. Then we had a power outage in my area of Toronto, due to Isabel knocking down trees all over the place. Washington Post called, too.

I read somewhere the list was reset because of fears spam harvesters would jump at the chance for a big list of emails/contacts.

It wasn't confirmed anywhere, but it kinda makes sense.

That could be possible, but you have the option of not showing your email, which is what I did.. I think (from what I read) that there was a technical problem that caused it however.. At least it is back up, and someone had the foresight to back up the petition at 10k.
