ICANN has a summary page with links to all of the documents on the ICANN site regarding the Verisign wildcard. They are also accepting comments from the Internet community about the VeriSign's deployment of wildcard DNS.
I strongly recommend that if you have an opinion on the Verisign SiteFinder service, that you visit the site and submit your comments prior to the October 7 meeting of the Security and Stability Advisory Committee. http://www.icann.org/general/wildcard-history.htm
