No single service will give you even a 10% chance of registering even a mediocre name. Cover all the bases you can to increase the odds in your favor. A few come to mind:

Have you considered making a deal with the current owner? If you can do that you will avoid a lot of uncertainty (and probably disappointment). Of course, if the Wait Listing Service ever happens, you'll need to grab the slot for the name you are "stalking".
