Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the suggestion. The preview message feature is on my list,
unfortunately this won't make it as part of the fixes for tomorrow. (Friday
code promotions get me in trouble ;) But we'll get that in the near future.

I like the idea of "email me a copy of this preview message so that I can
really see what it will look like". I'll see what we can do about getting
that in eventually.

Cheers,

James

James-

While you're making improvements, here's another suggestion...

Is there any way for a reseller to see sample output AFTER variable
substitution in the WHOIS data reminder template?

It would be useful to see what the final message looks like, especially in
the case of {{whois_info}} and friends. It was not clear to some until
earlier in this thread that the whois output included billing and reseller
information, etc.

Renewal messaging templates seem to have a reasonable "preview"
option. Is this something that could be implemented for the WHOIS data
reminder template as well?

Somewhat related... the "The actual emails sent out may not look exactly
like the preview message." in "Configure daily end user renewal reminder
email" is a little disturbing. Perhaps we could have an option to trigger an
"actual email" for a domain of our choosing to our reseller email address
for that "i know what this will actually look like to my clients" feeling?
:)

Please let me know if I should address these issues through more formal
channels than discuss-list.

Thanks,

-jeff
