Does anyone have any idea when they would drop this domain?
You have to watch the domain's whois info at whois.crsnic.net to figure out when it will drop. Look at the Status and Updated Date. Once the status changes to PENDINGDELETE, look at the Updated Date. .com's and .net's will generally drop 6 calendar days after going PENDINGDELETE, .org's are 35 days. So if you saw tucows.com go PENDINGDELETE on 22-dec-3003, you should try to get it on 28-dec-2003.
If you are at all serious about getting the domain, you should really use Snapnames, Pool, or a similar drop-catching service. We've had customers wait for a domain to drop thinking (incorrectly) that they were the only ones who'd want it, only to find one of the catchers picked it up. If even one other person has signed up at one of those services you won't be able to get it on your own.
