I have now found that the same errors also occur with reg_cert.cgi and
tpp_renew.cgi.

Can OpenSRS advise whether this release has been tested on Windows 2000
and/or 2003 - I can only assume that either this has not happened or
that verify_install.cgi needs some additional tests for the Windows
platform.

This does seem rather reminiscent of the days where I had to replace all
the /n" entries with /r/n" and add "Use Socket" in reg_system.cgi to
make the client work on Windows :-)

Subject: Managed DNS Service problems

I am in the process of preparing to go live with both 2.81 of the client
and the managed DNS service but although I was "approved" a fortnight
ago for the DNS Service is not visible to me in the RWI - am I missing
something ?

I am also having a problem with register_dns.cgi, if I leave both the
cgi & the conf file as the defaults apart from the $path_to_config
value, I get a page cannot be displayed error, if I turn of debug in the
conf file I then get a "script produced no output" error. With debug on
or off from the command prompt I get:-
HTML::Template->new() : Cannot open included file title.html : file not
found. at D:/Perl/site/lib/HTML/Template.pm line 1723.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them, I am running Windows
Server 2003 with ActivePerl 632

While I am writing I think another complaint to OpenSRS is overdue both
about the awful clunky and non-intuitive RWI, this is horrifically
overdue a complete overhaul along with the documentation and FAQs sites
where it is almost impossible to find anything, the organisation, layout
and consistency of these sites is absolutely appalling.

Regards
Rob
