Scenario: 1. New .CA registration through OpenSRS at 11:40pm 2. Registrant completes 'I agree' procedure through CIRA 3. WHOIS information shows full information of registrant including Tucows 4. CIRA sends private password to registrant at 12:02am 5. Attempts to login to Manage.cgi fails with "domain does not exist with OpenSRS" 6. Wait 12 hours (until 12 noon) 7. Attempts to login to Manage.cgi fails with "domain does not exist with OpenSRS"
So obviously we wait even longer. With .CA transfers, I know there is an RWI button to "Check Transfer Status" which can cause the domain to be scheduled (recognized) within 5 minutes. With new .CA domains, why isn't there a similar button? How about just "Check Status", at which point, in step 5 above, it would have let the domain become recognized by Manage.cgi and OpenSRS a few minutes after pushing the button in the RWI?
