Can anyone tell me where the rules are for domain locking and unlocking.  We
have a customer who is with another registrar and would like to  unlock
their domain and the registrar is asking him for the following
information... The customer does not wish to do go through these hoops at
this time.


Complete and fax this form, with the additional documents listed below, to
unlock your domain
name at the registry.

In order to protect your domain name, we will take steps to verify the
validity of all requests we
receive. The verifcation process can take up to 10 business days. We may ask
for additional
information in order to complete your request. Requests can be rejected at
the discretion of snip.

Once we have updated your account, we will send an e-mail to the Registrant
(Owner) e-mail
addresss acknowledging the update.

The following documents are required in order to complete your request:
- Photo ID
- Signed letter of request stating that you are authorized to make changes
to this domain name
(on company letterhead if domain name is owned by a business entity)
- Business Name Registration / Incorporation Documents (if domain name is
owned by a corporation)
