Why don't you simply add the appropriate info to your data to allow the 
blogware machine in your SPF ruleset?  Tucows doesn't publish SPF, but 
when they do, it should be as easy as adding "include:opensrs.net" or 
whatever the domain is.

BTW, they are also "forging" your domain renewal notices, etc..
SPF isn't widely supported, as you well know.  So complaining to 
OpenSRS about doing something you told them to do (as Tom pointed out, 
in the blogware settings), and it breaking something you set up (your 
decision to filter on SPF) ... it's over-reacting, me thinks.
