I wonder are there any rules at tucows for
resellers regarding their websites accessibility
and, more important, resellers Quality of Service?
I have a lot of domains with one of tucows resellers
who maintain their OWN customer management databse.
In other words, I am not able to manage my domains
through common manage.opensrs.net and I do not
use triple domain/login/pass in order to login
to their system, just username and password.
And you know what... In best case, they require
~2 hours to transmit any changes to tucows.
Very often, changes are not transmitted to tucows
at all and I need to submit support ticket for them
to change DNS etc. manually. ORG domains always require
support ticket for changes to be made.
I would be happy to manage my domains through manage.opensrs.net
instead but this reseller does not support such a feature.
I wonder are there any rules set by tucows for those types
of resellers?
I would not tell URL of this reseller now, hope they can
improve their system and I do not want to badmouth them...
it is good company in all aspects besides domain management.
