Hello All,

This is a suggestion for tucows team for email services.

When we, as a reseller process an order for client's mailbox (assuming he is
a new customer) ther are a lot of questions to be answered for him - like
how to access mail box, how to use web interface, how to change passwords
etc.

Indeed, there is a site help.webmaillogin.com but there are following
drawbacks related to user education and support.

- Firstly, theere is no help link, after user logs in.

- Even though if we ignore the exposure of webmaillogin, the user is
confused with too many urls...
 like
 http://mail.theirdomain.com (for actual use)
http://help.webmaillogin.com ... (for help ) etc

therefore , please make the help file available from the very initial
webmail screen -

mail.theirdomain.com

there too, the login should not be mandatory... (help text can always be
shown, even without authorisation)

- Finally, (and very significant) . Consider the user as a non-tech person.
All teh instructions in helpfile use a dummy domain name for explanations.
When as per above suggestion, you already have their domain name in the URL.
Just use the PHP or some CGI script and make the content dynamic, by
specifically referring to their own domains in the server names, like
mail.realcompanyname.com rather than saying mail.yourdomain.com etc. this
would be rather personalized and users will not be confused.

Best Regards,
