"As is" def'n: There is no option to pre-specify the expiry of an account via the Reseller Control Panel or API. We talked about it briefly over here not too long ago, but there wasn't sufficient demand at any point during the product development cycle to actually motivate us to do anything.
As Kim points out, this can change in the future, but there isn't anything in the pipeline currently.
