Domain in Redemption Perdiod re-regsitered at tucows ?

I have a client whoes domain was registered by a big big 
[sarcasm]competent[/sarcasm] internet company on behalf of the client (Bell 
not to mention it) 2 years ago with netsol. They let the domain expire, not 
even sending a warning or other form of bill to the client.

Now the domain is in redemption period (it expired on 17-sep-2004. The 
redemption period will end on december first, if I calculated correctly. Si 
if the client wishes to keep his domain, can the domain be "redemed" with 
tucows or does he need to make business with netsol ?
