My company laptop is also a Thinkpad, and runs 24x7 during the week.
This is the second one I've had here, but it runs Windows XP, and I only
use it for email, some web browsing,  time reporting, and a few putty
sessions (but I generally do not run exceed since I have an IA64
workstation).
