Let's not forget S/MIME, which is SSL message encryption. You know. S/MIME. The encryption protocol that's *actually* included in every mail client, without needing something like a PGP/GPG plugin or 3rd party app... Unfortunately, there are a lot of situations where such things are not possible, or not practical.
