Greetings, I've had success with the Synology DS1511+ units in the past, which to my knowledge run busybox, but I was considering building my own to reduce the cost. Has anyone had any success building their own 4-5 bay NAS units? I've looked at FreeNAS which certainly has all the services I need but I'm not sure the best route to go with regards to form factor, etc.
