The other way is to appoint mommy's girls and daddy's boys to entry-level managerial jobs and assign them to "motivate" technical professionals who are uninterested in sports scores, Miss America's measurements, and/or sucking up to those whom are planning to claw their way up to PHB status in middle management.

I think I can guess which situation you're in. Please leave: trust me when I tell you that life is too short to put up with even one moron who takes revenge on you for being too smart to care about the football
scores or a beauty pageant or the old boy network.

I find it kind of depressing.

good, competent, real-world men and women who can help you succeed at them.
