I think we all agree that he *must* have been approached. The fact that he nodded his head yes bead said no is clear as to what happened. It should be clear that the fact that he was asked means a few things:
(1) He has not said he did not put in a back door. (2) Others in the community were probably asked as well. (3) There are probably NSA agents involved in the Linux community covertly.
