Actually, they do, or close enough. What you're looking for is "media wearout" or something like that. It's a percentage, 100% being new and smaller numbers meaning more wear.
SDcards like the one which wore out on my raspberry pi a few months (costing me hours of recovery effort, and a pledge to never-again trust SDcard).
