Soweit ich es verstehe:
Er stellt fest, dass die eigentliche Ursache des Problems ("root
cause") darin liege, dass der Cursor (der die aktuelle Leseposition in
den Daten angibt) "denkt", er wäre in der Zeile hinter der letzten
Datenzeile - in Wirklichkeit ist er aber in der ersten. Daher gibt die
Abfrage nach den Anzahl der auszugebenden Datenzeilen (welche als
"aktuelle Zeile des Cursors - 1" gestellt wird) immer "0" aus und
damit auch genau diese Anzahl Ergebniszeilen.
