Sorry for triple posting but I want to congratulate the LibreOffice team for doing one better than OpenOffice.
Although the MSVC runtime installer is executed before the actual LO installer, it is now smarter than the OOo options: if there is no need for a runtime update the user is not nagged to close other MSVC currently running.
