Thank you, Fernand, for your reply. However, I have not been able to get better EPS images by printing to a PDF file. The problem is not coupled to PDF export, although OOo's built-in PDF export is not very good either. The problem is the poor quality of the inserted EPS images in the actual ODT document, both on screen and on print-out.
