I fully appreciate attempts to improve VBA interop as this is the way LO can gain placement on the myriad desktops stalling at XP waiting for a better solution than tithing to M$0. The Basic module has VBA_Interop (sp?) flag(s?) but in some places they make the Basic core logic more complex and hard to understand/maintain. I am all for a standard solution that treats empty strings, blanks strings and all other nothings as zeros in math context, but see the need for the VBA style results as well, however bizarre they are.
