You reminded me of a very useful point that in my honest opinion should
be made available to enterprise environment users.
I am sure most of you are aware that windows server has something called
group policy. With this it requires installers to be msi based. One perk
of having these types of installers is that system admins would only
need to force the group policy on a newly setup machine and all apps
will be installed via group policy. This will eliminate the need for a
system admin to spend days getting a few thousand machines up and
running Libreoffice, and allows centralization of upgrading when newer
versions are released.
