I suspect that this is the wrong list to discuss this issue, but anyway. There is a TeX macro that does what is required for critical editions, but its usage is even more arcane than that the typical TeX maco. Then there is the not so little issue of TeX's monolingualism. For the type of critical edition described in the RFE, it is not uncommon for sentences to contain glyphs from two or more different writing systems, apart from being in two or three different languages. This is something that should be doable as an extension. jonathon -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.documentfoundation.org/www/discuss/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
