According to the timetable decided today in the Chapters meeting (see the minutes at <http://wiki.freeculture.org/2007-10-14>), we will be accepting nominations for the Board of Directors beginning immediately. To nominate a candidate, please go to <http://wiki.freeculture.org/Nominations> and write down the name and FC chapter of the person you wish to nominate, and your name and FC chapter affiliation, as described on the page. Only current members of FC chapters or current board members are eligible to nominate people for the board of directors or to run for the board of directors. All nominees must accept their nominations if they are to become candidates, and they must provide a bio and a platform statement by e-mailing them to [EMAIL PROTECTED] We will stop accepting nominations at 11:59 Eastern time Oct 28th, and by the next day we will post all of the bios and platforms of the candidates, so that people may discuss and debate them.
