I think Lessig's suggestion for a 14 year term and then a long renewal term is great, and I'd love it if we could adopt many of his common sense approaches to copyright policy, but it seems like he's overlooked the actual real and positive possibilities in the proposal front of us. As Sohn points out, Lessig's proposal seems to be "politically infeasible" right now.
