Yup, seems like spam to me. Creighton didn't even attempt to justify why we would be interested in this mass-forwarded e-mail.
Hint: if you want to post something that is only at best tangentially related to free culture, at least write an introduction which explains exactly why we should read your e-mail. And don't just mass-forward stuff to every list that you belong to, try to write something a little more personalized. Is there any appropriate moderator response to posts like these, or should we just ignore spam and spammers?
