I know for a long time an anti-DRM sentiment has really been becoming mainstream, but this is one of the funniest examples I've seen to date.
http://www.amazon.com/review/product/B000FKBCX4/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?_encoding=UTF8&coliid=&showViewpoints=1&colid=&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending Granted, a couple of thousand of people on the internet (especially talking about Spore) doesn't quite constitute the mainstream, but it's more than just a handful of geeks. I'd be interested to see how this develops, because even for a super-hyped game like Spore, I imagine such a low Amazon rating could legitimately affect sales. (Especially because the game is mainstream enough that Amazon sales will make up a significant chunk of overall.) /parker
