More info about the Ada Initiative from their site:

The Ada Initiative Census is a periodic survey of women in the open
technology and culture community, designed to “take the temperature” of
women’s participation in open communities. Our goals are to learn what
projects women are working on, and how women are treated in each community.

We will use the results of this survey to help design other Ada Initiative
projects. The census will be repeated from time to time to help us
understand changes in the community over time.

The census takes about five minutes to complete. We would like anyone and
everyone involved in open technology and culture to participate! The census
will close on Tuesday, March 29th, 2011.
