Subject: OCW Consortium conference in Boston
To: Parker Phinney <[email protected]>

Hi Parker,
I hope all is well with you on this very sunny day.  The OCW
Consortium is having our annual global conference in Boston this year,
from May 4-6.  The planning committee is seeking students who are
interested in open education and willing to blog/tweet about the
conference and openness in education.  We'll offer free registration
to the conference and related events, and the chance to meet some of
the forces behind open education around the world.  Can you share with
the SFC?  For those who were excited about open education at the
conference in NY, this is a great follow up.
Here's the announcement:
We’re seeking student volunteers who are passionate about free
culture, are familiar with OpenCourseWare or open education and are
interested in participating in the OCW Consortium Global 2011 meeting
to participate in sessions and share observations and experiences
through social media channels. We would like 5 people onWed, May 4; 5
on Thus and 2 on Friday.  You can sign up for one or more days. In
exchange for sharing through social media channels, you will get a day
pass to the conference, and an invitation to all related activities.

Interested?  Go to at http://ocwcstudents.eventbrite.com/ take a
ticket for the days that you’re available and answer a couple of
registration questions.  We’ll we back in touch once we’ve organized a
schedule. The conference schedule is posted at:
http://conferences.ocwconsortium.org/2011/cambridge/program.html

Please feel free to pass this message along to people you know who may
be interested in volunteering. Questions? Contact
[email protected]

Thanks, Parker.
