Hi All, To help in funding the next SFC conference we have decided to start a Kickstarter project. For every project there is a video, a group of artists (http://www.artcock.net) have decided to actually make it. After speaking with them tonight, they have asked a few questions to get a clearer picture on what the video must be on. Just transcribing my notes these are the fundamental points:
- How do we want to picture the SFC movement? - Three fundamentals themes of the movement - Themes of the conference - What sort of video estethics would we want to suggest? - Video must on one hand, bring a realistic(and much needed) outcome to artists, as in "this conference and movement can help me in making projects on an institutional level" - so sustainable free culture and on the other hand be a realistic demand for law makers, such as the EU commission - How does the funder participate in the project? - Conference is in Europe, while Kickstarter is mainly US - What should the prizes be?
