Hi everyone, The next round of board elections is upon us and, according to tradition, the current board asked me to serve as the alumni election coordinator.
This email outlines TWO TASKS for you to accomplish in the next week. TASK 1: Reply to this email to register to vote SFCers will be voting as individuals in this year's election (NOT as chapters.) This means that each voter must be registered in advance. To register to vote in the 2012 SFC Board election, reply to this email ([email protected]) with the following information: * Your name * Your email address * Your affiliation (chapter, institution, etc.) TASK 2: Nominate SFC members to serve on the board There are five slots on the SFC Board of Directors. Starting in 2012, each member of the board will be assigned specific responsibilities according to five roles: * Treasurer * Outreach & Campaign Coordinator * Chapter & New Member Coordinator * Conference Coordinator * Technical Coordinator (Webmaster) You can nominate anyone, not just members of your chapter, and you may nominate them for one or two roles. Also, yes, you may nominate yourself!
