Just like Google Reader, you can download your OPML file (list of subscriptions) at any time and move somewhere else. But what about your comments/shared stories/saved stories/other things? Looking around it appears that there isn't a "backup allz my dataz, plz" button, but, perusing the API it seems like something could be "easily" written to do such a thing: https://www.newsblur.com/api Now, getting that into your own newly setup self-hosted NewsBlur site? Not sure. And NewsBlur wasn't made to be federated, I don't believe, so it isn't like you'd be able to interact with others anymore (unless they sign up to your install, of course).
