*Conference Fundraising & Sponsorship*
We've raised *$11,500* for the conference! A big thank you to our financial
sponsors--*Google, Public Knowledge, and QuestionCopyright.org* for
generously donating money to make this conference a reality, and another
big thank you to the fantastic organizations providing us with
institutional support: *Cardozo Cyberlaw Society, Center for Social Media,
Electronic Frontier Foundation, Free Culture Alliance, Free Culture @ NYU,
Institute for Information Law and Policy, New York Law School, New York
Legal Hackers*,* *and *Wikimedia NYC*! More sponsors are still TBD.

The money will first and foremost be used to subsidize student travel costs
for attending the conference! We'll be conducting a chapter roll-call in
the next two weeks, and in the process let our chapters know about the
conference and funding that is available. We're sending out a save the date
in a few days and in the next few weeks, we'll be opening up registration
and an online form for travel stipends.

If you have any questions, feedback, or concerns, let your voice be heard!

Cheers and many thanks,
Jennifer
