This is a matter of *transition*, not a matter of final goals. We all (even RMS) use hardware and ISPs that are not Free as in Freedom.
We need to change this, but we are still in transition. We can address these issues when we design a model for sharing physical reSources. Until we understand how to share physical reSources, we will continue to be at the mercy of the proprietary vendors.
