[October 08, 2007] New ISOC Chapter to be Formed in Philadelphia PHILADELPHIA --(Business Wire)-- Today, Afilias (www.afilias.info) and the Metropolitan Career Center (www.MetropolitanCareerCenter.org) announced that they have joined forces to sponsor the formation of a local chapter of a global non-profit organization called the Internet Society (www.isoc.org) in Philadelphia. This chapter, now in formation, will continue to foster the development and availability of the Internet and associated issues for Philadelphia and the surrounding community.
