That's exactly what I mean. I see how John's new anim() function simplifies the combination of 'effects'. It reminds me of scriptaculous's Effect.Parallel(). I guess it's best to update the code then, as this new queue handler seems more methodical & accurate. Before jQuery combined the effects & I thought this was another great 'magic' of jQuery ;) -- the non magical methodical queue system is, however, preferable.
