I found that if you use CSS class to hide something in safari then you need to use raw STYLE=" display: none" to get it work correctly in safari useing a classs="myHideClass" is not working, so thats my solution, that worked for me. you may want to try it. it sucks but its the only solution i known that would work -- Nilesh B.
