A colleague of mine discovered jQuery and started using it in one of our projects around January 2006. I was amazed by its simplicity, and was instantly converted. I don't think I've had a project since without using a little jQuery. Sadly, my colleague left this list, but is still jQuery-ing it up 8 to 5.
