I have updated my plugin for only allowing numbers to be typed into input boxes. It now works with textareas (possibly of use if you need to enter a very large number). You can also prevent pasting (so people don't paste in non-numeric values), while still allowing copying and cutting.
Works in IE 6, Firefox 1.5 and Opera 8.51 (I think later versions of Opera will be fine too).
