To echo the question about backwards compatibility...I'm currently working with jQuery and doing a complete rewrite of PHPGacl's admin console for a project at work. It involves the Sortables (specifically the push capabilities) and it'd be a big loss of time, to say the least, if I had to change code as a result.
On a positive note, the work on Interface is amazing (as if that's a secret!). -- David Quoting Yehuda Katz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Just for usability, it'd help a lot in the demo if the cursor was "default" > (the arrow) instead of the text selection tool. > > -- Yehuda > > On 10/26/06, bbuchs <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >> >> Do you expect to release this as a new "SortableTree" plugin, or would >> this >> replace the existing Sortables? >> >> More to the point, if this *did* replace Sortables, is it backwards >> compatible with the existing version? >> >> >> >> >> Stefan Petre wrote: >>> >>> Hi there, >>> >>> Me and Paul are thinking to change the way sortables are working right >>> now.
