Indeed.

Based on some other replies, I guess I wasn't clear in my statement(s). I'm not 
advocating depending on Javascript, not at all. However, I don't think we 
should do away with the bells and whistles (read: enhancements) that it offers, 
as some people in the industry try to dictate. If a site is accessible and 
usable (function) without Javascript, mission accomplished. If the site retains 
that accessibility and usability, but offers a much better user EXPERIENCE 
(form) with Javascript, so much the better.

My apologies if that came across poorly in my previous comments.
