I, of course, forgot to write down the exact message (I don't have IE
handy at the moment)...
These issues seem to be fixed in the latest SVN revision. The problem seemed to be that in 1.0.3 jQuery.event.fix() was overwriting the custom event object generated by jQuery.event.trigger in IE.
