Hey folks, Further to the discussions on this mailing list about getting the word about jQuery out to the world, I've created http://getjquery.org
The idea behind it is to come up with a similar site to getfirefox.org, to advocate the use of jQuery alongside, and over other JS libraries. There isn't much there at the moment, just a Drupal site and a Wiki (http://getjquery.org/wiki) to get the ball rolling. I'll also be offering hosting to jQuery projects with a basic package for free (basic as in everything is unlimited, but you have to take a getjquery.org sub-domain (i.e. http://myplugin.getjquery.org), and any higher requirements can be discussed such as hosting your own URL. Email me off-list if you are interested. Please feel free to register and dive into the Wiki, I'll not be online this weekend, but when I come back I'd like to see lots of discussion going on about what to do with the site.
