Unfortunately, typeof(element.focus)!= "function" in IE (and I have scars to
prove it) so it wouldn't be interpreted correctly by $(). But I am in awe of
Klaus for even thinking of that. Or maybe I am just scared of him now that I
know how his mind works. :)
