All,
Can someone please explain the change that was made to JQuery that made the end() method function differently between version 1.0.4 and version 1.1.1? I have some code that I uses the end() method to "revert" the JQuery object to the previous object and it no longer seems to do that. Previously, I could do something like: jQ.end().filter( "new filter" ); and the jQ object would have reverted to the previous JQuery object with the new filter. Now, to get the same effect, I have to do the following: jQ = jQ.end().filter( "new filter" ); This seems to work, but is there a better way to handle this? Mark D. Lincoln Mark D.
