hmmm, yes, I think that may work. This is my situation, I have four total levels:
device1 |--------channel1 ---------|----------view1 --------------------|-------rule |--------channel2 ---------|----------view1 --------------------|-------rule device2 |--------channel1 ---------|----------view --------------------|-------rule device3 |--------channel1 ---------|----------view --------------------|-------rule So if I am assuming correctly what you are saying is, if I open up device2 then decide to open device1, device 2 will close (it's sibling) and if I open channel1 under device1 and then go to channel2 of device1, channel1 will close. If that is what you are saying, then yes, that will work, because the end result is the user clicking on the rule and the id of that rule will be inserted into a hidden field on that page and there can only be one view open at a time..
