Sorry for late answer. Use callback function to unbind the event form element. For example: -cut- $(document).ready(function() { $(".editable").editable("http://www.example.com/save.php", { indicator : '<img src="img/indicator.gif">', type : "textarea", submit : "OK", }, function(value, settings) { $(this).unbind(settings.event); }); }); -cut- Working example in url below: http://www.appelsiini.net/~tuupola/jquery/jeditable/tamayo.php -- Mika Tuupola http://www.appelsiini.net/~tuupola/ _______________________________________________ jQuery mailing list discuss@jquery.com http://jquery.com/discuss/
