Hi, I don't know where to go to make changes from your TIPS section survive reboots. The specific changes are:
echo 1 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/sched_mc_power_savings echo 1500 > /proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_centisecs echo 5 > /proc/sys/vm/laptop_mode (I have a UPS and upsd is runing). I don't see any documentation on the subject, presumably the answer lies somewhere in "init scripts". Any advice greatly appreciated. Oh and I'm running Kubuntu 8.10 i386.
